Or as we like to refer to them, DAQs - dumb-ass questions:
  1. "Why don't you guys have single click shopping buttons?"

    We don't do 'shopping cart /button' type sales because we have to run it from the road, which means we'd like to communicate with you via email before you send us payment. This is to make sure a) you're OK with occasional shipping delays (say, if all our various tours are coincidentally out of the US at the same time), and b) we want to make sure we have your stuff in stock. Being a small outfit whose partners all have real gigs on the road, we do occasionally run out of a size and we don't want you to have to wait for a refund if you've paid for a shirt we know we don't have on hand. Makes sense now, right?

  2. "Why can't I post a comment on the blog page?"

    You cannot post comments on our blog. Unfortunately, although Yahoo does allow the feature to be disabled, there is no way to remove the 'comment' button on the page. When you click on it, nothing happens. We'd get rid of the button if we could; sorry about the confusion.

  3. "Why have we disabled the comment feature?"

    Well, in short, this is [mostly] a business site, and we don't want unapproved stuff getting posted. Crew/roadie/rock-n-roll type 'A' personalities have been known to turn many blogs into techno-flame sites, and we just don't need to foster that kind of grief. The world is uncivilized enough already.

    However, as many of our fans and customers know, if you'd really like something posted on the site (a console for sale, an obituary, a useful anecdote...you've all seen these here before), you may email us at shirts@thisgigsucks.com, and if appropriate we'll post it. What's 'appropriate' mean? We decide that. That's the beauty of it being our blog. Like the spelling errors... No one gets to grade this but us.
